Polish up your dance moves and get ready for the big event!

The 18th annual Portland Thrill The World Dance will be held at 3:00 PM at Irving Park.  Performers will dance to Michael Jackson’s Thriller song.  Enjoy the performance and soak in the creativity of costumed ghouls, zombies, and other creepy creatures.  The event is open to all, so come cheer on the performers!  Irving Park is located at NE 7th Ave. & Freemont Street in Portland.

Night Flight presents “Fright Night: a Halloween Circus” is back for its 11th year at the beautiful Lincoln Performance Hall at PSU.

Blockmonster Video clerks Nick and Kyle are hoping for a quiet Halloween night rewinding horror hits. But when a mysterious book shows up with the rental returns all hell breaks loose. Nothing could go wrong if you read from it, right?

The book sends them careening through time and into some of their favorite horror movies old and new. Battling possessed dolls swinging high above the audience, contorting demigorgons and a blood soaked prom queen on aerial silks, Nick and Kyle must use their wits and horror movie wisdom to make it back home.

Night Flight presents “Fright Night: A Halloween Circus” runs for two weekends October 20-29th 2023, at Lincoln Performance Hall at PSU.

Featuring the west coast’s best circus talent paying tribute to their favorite horror movies “Fright Night” is a Halloween tradition not to be missed!

The 2016 Portland Zombie Walk is tomorrow, Monday, October 30, 2016

A horde of the undead will shuffle through town, grubling and moaning in search of tasty human brains and flesh, upon which they feed. Zombies will gather at Pioneer Courthouse Square for the 11th annual Portland Zombie Walk.

A GoFundMe.com campaign was launched to help pay for the event expenses.  Please join PortlandZombies.com in supporting this campaign.

In other news…
A horde of Portland Zombies crawled from their graves for a dance performance to the song Thriller, by Michael Jackson.  The event was a great success and the zombies were amazing!  Visit the Thrill The World photo page on PortlandZombies.com to see new pictures posted today.

Thrill Portland announced the schedule for next several practices for Thrill The World!

  • Friday, October 21st, 6:00 to 8:00 PM

  • Sunday, October 23rd: 2:00 to 4:00 PM

The Thrill The World dance will be on October 29th at 3:00 PM at the Irving Park covered basketball court at 7th Ave. & Fremont in Portland.

Thrill The World  has also announced a special Thriller class on Thursday, October 27th, led by Rejoice! Diaspora Dance Theater. There is a $10 fee for the class.  All proceeds will benefit local community organizations.  The class will be from 7:30 to 8:30 PM at the North Star ballroom.   635 N.
