Thrill The World!
Thrill The World is a global community project that is inspiring others to break down barriers, connect with people of all religions, race, political and economic persuasions, contribute to helping humanity, encourage environmental stewardship and encourage people to step up as leaders, visionaries, and creators. Each year, around Halloween, Portland Zombies join thousands of people around the world to celebrate Michael Jackson’s talent by dancing simultaneously to “Thriller”! The event also serves as a fund raiser for local charities and community groups. Portland’s official Thrill The World typically occurs a few days prior to the Zombie Walk with encore performances the day of the Zombie Walk.

The undead of PDX emerged for a street performance to the song Thriller, by Michael Jackson, for the 10th annual Thrill The World dance.
Thrill the World Portland 2016 was a benefit for the Sexual & Gender Minority Youth Resource Center (SMYRC) and Sankofa Collective Nortwest.
